This program is ten units of leased housing designed to provide permanent housing and supportive services to the homeless with disabilities in order to improve their general welfare and increase their self-sufficiency. Individuals or families are eligible if at least one adult has a physical or mental impairment which limits one or more of the major activities of life. Eligible participants would come from an emergency shelter, referring social agency, transitional housing or would be facing eviction with no resources to secure subsequent housing or have been living in places deemed unsuitable to human habitation. |
